Erica has been C.J.’s legal assistant for over 31 years.  In 1999, Erica earned her Certified Paralegal (CP) designation through the National Association of Legal Assistants.  Wanting to further her family law knowledge, Erica earned her Advanced Certified Paralegal (ACP) designation in Family Law (Dissolution Case Management) in 2018. Currently, Erica is one of only eight paralegals in Florida to have earned this prestigious Advanced Certification in Family Law.  Erica also has over 30 years’ experience in probate, estate planning and guardianships.

Erica was a founding member of the Lake County Chapter of Legal Secretaries and Paralegals in 2003 and served as Secretary and Treasurer.

Erica is married to her high school sweetheart, Matthew. They have been married over 30 years and have a daughter, Jacqueline, and a son, Nicholas.
